It’s a chilling tale!
Greenland, that is the world’s largest island (almost 65% of India’s area) and the largest mass of ice after Antarctica has seen 1/2 of it’s ice softened (from rocky to slushy) in the last decade.
The global temperature records have been breaking every passing year and 2019 was no different. After a soft winter, Greenland has lost approximately 250 billion tonnes of ice.
That is enough to increase global water level by 8/10th of a millimeter.
